Cephissus River Flood Depth and Flood Maps – Attica (NOA & Derived Products)

This dataset contains flood depth rasters for the Cephissus (Kifisos) River in the Region of Attica, Greece, for multiple return periods (50, 100, and 1000 years). The original files (depth{r}.tif) were provided by the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) and represent modeled floodwater depth (in meters) for the respective return periods. Based on these inputs, downscaled and processed versions (depth{r}_ds.tif) were generated within the flood hazard workflow to optimize spatial resolution and computational efficiency for risk assessment analyses. Additionally, flood extent maps (floodmap_PresentScenario_Cephissus_{r}.tif) were produced for each scenario as part of the flood workflow, representing spatial flood inundation under present climate conditions. All datasets are provided in GeoTIFF format and are suitable for use in standard GIS software and Python-based geospatial analysis environments. These layers were used as core hazard inputs in the flood risk assessment workflow for Attica, enabling subsequent exposure and risk calculations for infrastructure and population along the Cephissus River corridor.
