Global urban shadow dataset and analysis code

This record contains a city-level urban shadow dataset and accompanying analysis scripts. The data archive includes an hourly city-by-time table (`city_all_stats.parquet`) and a city-level spatial attribute file with geometry (`urban.gpkg`). The dataset covers 1,487 cities and 13,133,184 hourly records. The two main data files are linked by the shared identifier `UID`. The analysis archive contains compute-only Python scripts organized into four modules: shadow patterns, shadow-radiation relationships, covariance and regression, and energy-temperature analyses. Plotting routines were removed from the release version. The root `README.md` provides an overview of the release, and the guides in the data archive describe file structure, fields, and encodings. This record is intended as the public data and analysis companion for reproducible research on urban shade, solar radiation, and urban climate. Data files are released under CC BY 4.0. The analysis code archive is released under the MIT License.
