Baby is the Sievers' first child, and the mother Virginia Sievers made a list of firsts. First: Patient to enter hospital; had first bed turned down; had first meal served; was given first hypo; first to use the delivery room; completed schedule by giving birth at 11:59, the last minute of the first day the hospital officially opened. Baby weighed 7 pounds, 12 3/4 ounces and mother and child are doing fine".
