Hilltops to Waterways: Reconnecting landscapes in the Bathurst urban environment

Hilltops to Waterways will protect and improve the habitat quality of remnant Box-Gum Grassy Woodland (an endangered ecological community) in the Bathurst urban area and improve connectivity between remnant woodland patches in the Mount Panorama precinct and the riparian vegetation of Bathurst's urban creeks and the Macquarie River. Participants will assist with targeted woody and grass weed control, fence and litter removal, strategic planting of local native vegetation and erosion control through industry leading watershed management actions to achieve these outcomes.
