Studies on diagnosis and consultation of forest diseases and pests

The website (http://health.tfri.gov.tw/) has been constructed for providing the information associated with forest pests and diseases. By this project, "Diagnosis Center of Forest Diseases" has been set up to provide the propaganda and service for the information of forest health management. Besides, we renewed the data base of forest pests in the website and developed several new diagnostic techniques for important forest pests. A total of 281 cases of forest diseases or pests was identified during this year: 305 cases of forest diseases or pests was identified during this year: 174 cases of diseases (57.1%), 90 of insects (29.5%), and 41 of physiological agents (13.4%).
