Rhipicephalus geigyi ticks were collected from domestic cattles (Bos taurus) in Kindia, Guinea, West Africa. The 26 pools from 5 ticks each were used for RNA isolation and these samples were analyzed using Illumina technology by MiSeq. In 5 samples there were found Mogiana virus - like fragments.
