Helianthemum climate dataset: georeferenced occurrences and extracted bioclimatic variables

Climate dataset for Helianthemum taxa. We provide validated georeferenced occurrences (14,551 points; WGS84) and extracted bioclimatic variables (Bio1–Bio19) from WorldClim 2.1 at 30 arc-second resolution for each point, plus a per-taxon table of mean Bio1–Bio19 values (117 taxa). Files: 1_Climate_data_all_coordinates.csv (semicolon-delimited; one row per coordinate; variable names wc2.1_30s_bio_1 … _19), 2_Climate_data_taxon.xlsx (one row per taxon; short names T_ann, T_diur, Isoth, T_seas, T_max, T_min, T_range, T_wetQ, T_dryQ, T_warmQ, T_coldQ, P_ann, P_max, P_min, P_seas, P_wetQ, P_dryQ, P_warmQ, P_coldQ), VARIABLE_CROSSWALK.tsv (mapping between both naming schemes with descriptions), and 3_METHODS.txt (filtering, spatial validation, 1-km deduplication and extraction with the R package terra).
