This dataset consists of basic binary star populations generated using the default ini configuration file provided with POSYDON. They are to be used in the POSYDON tutorials. Each population contains 10,000 binaries, simulated across 8 distinct metallicities ranging from metal-poor to solar and super-solar values, allowing more advanced population synthesis tutorials to be followed along. These data should not be used for scientific purposes.
