The MfN_LEP_SEASIA dataset contains 25,844 low-resolution JPEG images (535.58×344.51 pixels) of specimen labels from Pyraloidea (Lepidoptera) collected across Southeast Asia at various times. Digitized and curated by the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, the dataset features single-label annotations and is intended to support research in lepidopterology, biodiversity informatics, and computer vision tasks such as label classification, metadata extraction, and large-scale specimen digitization analysis.
