ChREBPa protects against diet-induced non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

To investigate the role of ChREBPa in the development and progression of non-alcholic fatty liver disease, we investigated how Chrebpa deficiency or overexpression affect the development and progression of NAFLD. Overall design: We compared the gene expression profiling of RNA-seq data from the livers of Chrebpa-flox/flox mice injected with AAV-TBG-GFP (Chrebpa-WT) and AAV-TBG-Cre (Chrebpa-LKO) and fed NASH diet (40 kcal% Fat (Either Palm Oil), 20 kcal% Fructose and 2% Cholesterol) for 12 weeks, and compared the gene expression profile of the livers of wildtype mice injected with Adenovirus overexpressing GFP (Ad-GFP) and Chrebpa (Ad-Chrebpa) and fed HFLMCD diet (45 kcal% Fat, Without Choline and With 0.1% Added Methionine).
