Bills in Parliamentary Sessions, 1972-1974

The survey comprises 298 government Bills read in the parliamentary sessions of 1972-1973 and 1973-1974. Bills concerning budget or supplementary estimates were not included. #For each Bill the following registrations have been made: # 1) the characteristics of the Bill, # 2) information on the various readings of the Bill, # 3) information concerning persons, organizations and # institutions participating in the law-making process # at various stages: # a) debates in commissions and committees, if any, # b) administrative preparations, including hearings, # c) parliamentary committee debates, including inquiries # to the committee, and # d) administration of the Act. #The material has been structured in such a way that all registrations contain information on a) participation phase, b) persons participating, and c) organizations or institutions represented by the participants mentioned under b)
