Photograph of man praying before Hindu idol, Los Angeles, 1999. A man stands before a statue with his hands together and his eyes closed. He is wearing a white robe with black embroidery. The statue with lion's face has it's right hand raised, palm open and its left hand outstretched in a claw type position. It is dressed in a white shawl and a flower lei and made out of some kind of black stone. It has a mouth full of large white fangs and a headdress of what appears to be leaves.
