资源简介:

This dataset contains high-resolution movement trajectories for the ant species Camponotus japonicus, recorded as both raw pixel coordinates (x, y; listX, listY) obtained from NetLogo. The data were collected to investigate the spatial dynamics and orientation of ants from three size classes—major (L), media (M), and minor (S)—within a controlled laboratory arena. Each experiment lasted one hour per colony, providing a detailed record of ant movement under consistent conditions. The listX and listY data are organized into folders named after the colony ID, which corresponds to the date the colony was collected and the experiment was conducted. Within each folder, data are stored in CSV files whose names specify both the coordinate type and the ant size class. For example, listX_L.csv contains the x-coordinates for major workers. Each CSV file has 16 columns, each representing one individual ant, as 16 ants were tracked simultaneously. The coordinates form a time series recorded at 29 frames per second (fps). In the raw data, coordinates are expressed in pixels with the image’s top-left corner set as the origin (0, 0). The x-axis ranges from 0 to 320 pixels, and the y-axis ranges from 0 to –320 pixels (increasing upward in the image coordinate system). Special note: For the 0616_S experiment, the video recording was interrupted at the 30-minute mark. As a result, the dataset contains movement data for the first 30 minutes and for the period after 30 minutes, but no data for the moment of disturbance itself.
