This dataset contains 73,680 observations of informal employment data across 45 African countries, spanning 2000–2025, with a focus on informal employment disaggregated by sex, age, and marital status (in thousands). Sourced from the International Labour Organizations ILOSTAT database via API and filtered to African ISO3 country codes, it includes one core indicator (EMP_NIFL_SEX_AGE_MTS_NB) and provides detailed fields such as country, data source, sex, age classification, marital status, observation year, observed value, and data status.
