This dataset contains replication materials for the paper entitled: "Perceptions of Teacher Gender-Differential Treatment in STEM: Longitudinal Associations with Identity, Self-Efficacy, and GPA". Materials include the script to replicate analyses. The study used data from the High School Longitudinal Study (HSLS) dataset provided by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). (2025-01-27) Data Files (1) Perceptions of Teacher Gender-Differential Treatment in STEM - R Script.Rmd: This file contains the main analysis code used in the study. It includes the structural equation modeling (SEM) conducted using the lavaan package in R, data preparation steps, and all statistical analyses performed. (2) Perceptions of Teacher Gender-Differential Treatment in STEM - Missingness Analysis - R Script.Rmd: This file provides a detailed analysis of the missing data patterns within the HSLS dataset, including handling missing data and evaluating potential biases introduced by missingness.
