The Canis mtDNA HV1 database is established to collect and surveil available HV1 sequences of Canis lupus mtDNA and reconcile annotation inconsistencies in public databases. The Haplotype identifier supports users in identification of haplotype of a query sequence.Currently, the Canis mtDNA HV1 database contains 5885 DNA sequences belonging to 15 subspecies in the species Canis lupus. Sequences are grouped into haplotypes and haplogroups. Candidates for new haplotypes are also grouped awaiting to be assigned.犬线粒体DNA（mitochondrial DNA）HV1数据库的建立，旨在收集并监测已公开的灰狼（Canis lupus）线粒体DNA HV1序列，同时整合公共数据库中存在的注释不一致之处。该数据库配备的单倍型标识符可辅助用户完成查询序列的单倍型鉴定。目前，该数据库共收录了隶属于灰狼15个亚种的5885条DNA序列，所有序列均被划分为单倍型与单倍群；待分配的新单倍型候选序列亦已完成分组，等待最终分配。
