Comparing the analytical characteristics of the invasive and non-invasive glucose sensors, invasive (blood) samples have a wider glucose detection linear range and a lower sensitivity than external body-fluid samples. The narrow and low linear ranges with high sensitivity comply with the conditions of glucose detection in external body fluids.
