资源简介:
Accumulating studies have used techniques such as omics and model animals to clarify the relationship between the microorganisms and the host. Due to the unique digestive physiological characteristics of ruminants, the functional verification of rumen microorganisms and the interaction with the host are still unclear. In this experiment, we transplanted ruminal microorganisms to antibiotic-treated mice and found that the colon of mice can transfer some ruminal microorganism functions and the colon has similar functions to the rumen. Therefore, we speculate that the colon may be the best place to replace the rumen for functional verification in model animals. It is necessary to further optimize the microbial transplantation technology to achieve the successful colonization of key rumen microorganisms in the colon.
