This is an environmental manipulation experiment using open-top chambers to study the impacts of increased soil temperature and water availability on soil microbial communities. The OTC was installed in late summer 2014 at Kvadehuken (78.9667N, 11.4741E). A total of 48 soil samples were being sampled soon after snow melt on 1 July 2015.
