Supplementary Datasets: Global seaweed richness, endemism, and temperature associations

This archive contains eight supplementary datasets supporting analyses of global patterns in seaweed taxonomic richness, endemism, and temperature associations. Data were compiled from peer-reviewed literature, regional species inventories, grey literature, and global taxonomic databases, and standardized into a 5° × 5° global grid framework. The archive includes species–locality records (Dataset S1), derived cell-level richness and environmental metrics (S2), coastline standardization data (S3), connectivity network structure and node attributes (S4–S6), divergence time estimates (S7), and pairwise similarity metrics (S8).
