Mobile money transactions in Africa 2020-2022

More mobile money users made more transactions in Eastern Africa than in any other African region during 2022, making a total of 28 billion transactions. In total, mobile money users in Africa made 44.9 billion mobile money transactions across the continent, representing an increase of over eight billion transactions from the previous year.
