Replication Data for "A Thematic Analysis of Emotional Coping Strategies Associated with Canned Yellow Peaches Consumption During the COVID-19 Pandemic based in Social media Use in China."

These two datasets were used in the original paper titled "A Thematic Analysis of Emotional Coping Strategies Associated with Canned Yellow Peaches Consumption During the COVID-19 Pandemic based in Social media Use in China." One part of the social media data (338 posts), namely the post of Sina Weibo, was extracted from a COVID-19 Chinese Internet database created for a research project examining disaster cultures from the perspective of public health security. Another part (239 posts) consisted of original posts about canned yellow peaches from December 2022. Additionally, 20 media reports about canned yellow peaches, generated by professional or official media outlets, were collected.
