资源简介:
There is a complex relationship between microorganisms in urban river water and greenhouse gases. Microorganisms play an important role in urban river water, including the decomposition of organic matter, nutrient cycling, and ecosystem stability. The activities of these microorganisms are closely related to the emission and consumption of greenhouse gases. On one hand, the process of organic matter decomposition by microorganisms in urban river water can produce greenhouse gases such as methane and carbon dioxide. These greenhouse gases are byproducts of microbial metabolism and contribute to global climate change. On the other hand, microorganisms can also participate in the consumption of greenhouse gases. For example, some microorganisms can use methane as an energy source for respiration, thereby reducing methane emissions. In addition, microbial communities, particularly specific taxa, hold value as bioindicators for monitoring freshwater ecosystems, surpassing conventional chemical measurements due to their potential to identify geographic origins or contamination sources. In conclusion, there is an interaction between microorganisms in urban river water and greenhouse gases.
