Landowner survey

we conducted a sruvey of forest landowners on the Gulf Coast. We recieved 541 usable surveys. The questions in this survey elicited landowner characteristics, perceptions of hurricane risk and structural factors, and a decision-making assessment. The decision-making assessment presented three tropical cyclone frequency scenarios (“hurricane scenarios”): Remain the same as the previous two decades (S1), increase by 25% (S2), and increase by 50% (S3), and landowners indicated whether they intend to sell, convert, and/or conserve woodland by marking a line indicating the approximate percentage intended for each LULC change
