The network is composed of >=7 broadband seismometers in the Raton Basin, which spans the New Mexico-Colorado border in the southern Rocky Mountains. The primary aim of the study is to monitor local seismicity, which may be related to wastewater injection due to coal bed methane production in addition to natural tectonic forces.
