ISA degrading alkaliphilic biofilms 16s community analysis. biofilm metagenome

Biofilm communities were generated from an enrichment culture which was cultivated from a biofilm cultured in-situ at an analogue site for an ILW-GDF. The biofilm communities were first generated at pH 11 and then when at steady state exposed to increasing pH values of 12 and 13. The biofilms used ISA as their primary carbon source which was supplied in the form of CDP under methanogenic conditions.
