资源简介:
The rapid advancement of information technologies has significantly influenced the lexical systems of modern languages, particularly in the field of computer software terminology. This study investigates the semantic fields of computer software terminology in English and Uzbek, focusing on the classification, semantic relationships, and cross-linguistic correspondences of software-related terms. Using a comparative and descriptive approach, the research analyzes a corpus of software terminology extracted from technical documentation, software interfaces, and educational resources. The findings reveal that English software terminology demonstrates a highly developed semantic structure, while Uzbek software terminology is characterized by active borrowing, semantic adaptation, and the gradual formation of native equivalents. The study contributes to terminology studies, contrastive linguistics, and translation research by identifying key semantic domains and examining their representation in both languages.
