资源简介:
This dataset contains Mössbauer spectroscopy measurements of iron-bearing phases in Arctic active layer and permafrost soils, including samples spanning a deglaciation gradient and an unglaciated, loess-influenced site on the North Slope of Alaska. Spectra were collected at room temperature (RT), 77 K (kelvin), and 12 K, including hyperfine magnetic field measurements at 12 K for different mineral phases. Mössbauer spectral parameters for each sample are also provided. Mossbauer spectroscopy measurements were done at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory under the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory, a DOE (Department of Energy) Office of Science User Facility sponsored by the FICUS (Facilities Integrating Collaborations for User Science) Research program under Project ID 60871. These data can be used for comparative analyses, modeling, and interpretation of iron dynamics in Arctic soils under changing climatic conditions.
