Number of Zika virus cases in the U.S. by state or territory 2020

This graph shows the provisional number of Zika virus disease cases by U.S. state or territory in 2020. In that year, New York reported just one symptomatic Zika virus disease cases, a huge decrease from over 1,000 cases in 2016. The World Health Organization announced an end to the Zika virus epidemic that spread from Brazil to other parts of South and North America in November 2016.
