Nineteen samples were examined to recover organic fragments suitable for AMS
radiocarbon dating. These samples were recovered from stream deposits along Vance Creek in
the Skokomish River Basin, Washington. Charcoal was identified, and potentially datable
material was separated. Radiocarbon dates were obtained from five charcoal samples.
