Rodent mobility within Antananarivo - Dataset

This dataset was generated as part of a study investigating the movement and spatial ecology of rodents in Antananarivo, Madagascar. The objective of the study was to better understand rodent mobility patterns in urban environments. The dataset includes individual data and Rhodamin B marking data collected from field trapping and tracking activities conducted across multiple study sites within the city. Variable description id: Individual identifier giving in the laboratory genus/species: Identification of the captured rodent trap_type: Type of the trap used for the capture site: Identifier of the sampling site sector_site: Identifier of the sector sampled in the site X_coord/Y_coord: Geographic coordinates of the capture location night_trap: Trapping night (e.g., 1=first night, 2=second night, ...) age: Age of the captured individual (Juv: Juvenile / Ad: Adult) sex: Sex of the captured individual (M/F) weight: Body weight (in grams) number_of_fleas: Number of fleas collected on the individuals vibrissae: Vibrissae sampling (1= yes / 0=no) RB_diss: Observed fluorescence in the digestive tract (+:yes / -:no) RB_blb: Observed fluorescence in the bulb of the vibrissae (+:yes / -:no) RB_stem: Observed fluorescence in the stem of the vibrissae (+:yes / -:no) RB_loc: Localisation of the fluorescence RB: Rhodamin B-marking fluorescence (Pos : positive / Neg : negative) distance: Distance of the RB-positive individuals from the nearest RB-baiting point (in meters)
