North Wyke Farm Platform sheep production data

The North Wyke Farm Platform (Orr et al. 2016, doi: 10.1111/ejss.12350; Takahashi et al. 2018, doi: 10.1017/S1751731118000502) is an intensively instrumented research farm set up as a UK National Capability facility and managed by Rothamsted Research. Located in the heart of England's South West grassland region, it carries out a farm-scale experiment to investigate economic-environmental trade-offs inherent in different farming systems.

The dataset provided here focuses on sheep production within each farm. For the current version (V1), it encompasses 2978 lambs and their mothers (741 ewes) that belonged to the platform over a 9-year period between 2011 and 2019.
