This article examines the methodology of organizing and assessing independent learning through the use of digital dictionaries in foreign language education. In modern educational environments, the integration of digital technologies has significantly transformed language learning practices, particularly in the development of lexical competence. Digital dictionaries provide learners with immediate access to semantic, phonetic, grammatical, and contextual information about words, which supports autonomous learning and enhances language acquisition.
