Thailand (2013): FoQus to understand HIV testing, care, and treatment service uptake among MSM in Bangkok and Chiang Mai

As a part of the CAP-3D (Control and Prevention of Three Diseases) Project that PSI-Thailand Foundation implemented through the collaboration with partner organizations, this qualitative research aims to understand the uptake of HIV testing, care, and treatment by MSM. The findings from this study will inform the development and design of campaigning activities to reduce HIV transmission. This study was implemented by conducting in-depth interviews with 39 MSM aged 18-35 years in Bangkok and Chiang Mai.. According to the findings from in-depth interviews, there were several factors that influenced VCT uptake, including personal factors, factors related to service delivery model, and social factors.
