The data obtained from the open-source Simulink model of the Molten Salt Reactor Experiment (MSRE) is shared. The model is a lumped parameter model of both the primary and secondary loop of the reactor. Simulated frequency responses of power-to-reactivity, temperature-to-reactivity, power-to-void fraction, etc. are given in the dataset. The experimental data used for model validation is also attached. Moreover, the simulated transient response of the reactor following the unique initiating events is shared, including the xenon reactivity, temperature and reactor power level.The uncertainty depends on the simulation conditions and the accuracy of the constitutive models. For the range considered in this dataset, uncertainties of the frequency responses and the transient xenon reactivity should be within 20%. Uncertainties in the transient temperatures and power levels are not quantified.
