IARA an Acoustical Recordings Archive (IARA), named as an acronym for a character from Tupi-Guarani mythology, is a set of acoustical data collected under the Santos Basin Soundscape Monitoring Project (PMPAS-BS), carried out by PETROBRAS in compliance with conditions required by the federal environmental licensing process conducted by IBAMA.IARA contains 129 h and 34 min of audio data from 1825 recordings, including ship and background noises in different environmental conditions.
