OWM Lab Metrology Info Hours: Consensus Value 2026 for the Kilogram
收藏资源简介:
The NIST Office of Weights and Measures (OWM) routinely hosts Lab Metrology Information Hours, or "LMIH," that feature insights on topics relevant to legal lab metrology and documentary standards through an informal technical discussion and Question and Answer forum. In this week's session, NIST’s Kevin Chesnutwood presents the latest updates to the Consensus Value for the Redefinition of the Kilogram. After reviewing the recording of this LMIH, you will be able to do the following: DESCRIBE the latest results from the BIPM CCM-TGPfD-kg key comparison reference value experiment (KCRV); EXPLAIN to peers and management how the consensus value (CV) value was determined; and APPLY the CV to adjust mass calibration values to align with the International System of Units (SI). Moderated by NIST OWM’s Micheal Hicks. Video Editor: Jennifer Lee/NIST. Recorded: April 28, 2026.
