This FAIRsharing record describes: The Open Science and Open Data Policy of the University of Algarve (UAlg) establishes the institutional framework for open science practices across all research activities at the university. The policy applies to all members of the academic community engaged in research and covers all research outputs, including publications, datasets and software. It is underpinned by the FAIR principles and aligned with national and European frameworks, including the FCT open access policy, Horizon Europe, EOSC and the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science (2021). Compliance is monitored by the UAlg Open Data Center (ODC) through annual reporting and repository usage analysis.
