Replication Data for Policy Design, Instrument Choice, and Policy Feedback Effects of Institutional Business Power: Varieties of Child Care Investments in Australia, Canada, and Germany

Dataset tracks policy design choices across subnational governments (provinces, states and Lander) in three country cases: Canada, Australia, and Germany. The dataset includes an original index that measures key quality indicators for ECEC, as well as independent measures of the share of public, non-profit, and for-profit delivery of childcare services. The dataset is inclusive of data for 2005 and 2023.
