Reproducibility Materials for the CHARLS Empty-Nest Operationalisation and Depressive-Symptom Classification Study

This record contains reproducibility materials for the manuscript “Empty-Nest Operationalisation and Depressive Symptoms among Rural Older Chinese Adults: A CHARLS Study.” Version 2.2.0 contains the byte-identical executed final-analysis script retained for provenance, a functionally matched portable derivative, figure-generation scripts, aggregate derived results, enriched multiple-imputation specifications and diagnostics, full exposure–outcome sample classification analyses, repeated cross-validation, alternative CES-D-10 thresholds, survey-design robustness checks, household-composition analyses, 2020 current-state, transition, incident, and retention analyses, the final supplementary workbook, figures, a README, and a SHA-256 manifest. Restricted CHARLS microdata and participant identifiers are not included. Registered users must obtain CHARLS data independently under the CHARLS project’s data-use terms; the reproducibility boundary and required restricted intermediate inputs are documented in the README. Version 2.2.0 supersedes version 2.1.0 and synchronises the supplementary workbook, Figure 1, and Figure S3 with the final revised journal submission. No statistical estimates were changed in this release.
