Vocal cord dysfunction/inducible laryngeal obstruction (VCD/ILO): novel insights into pathophysiology, clinical expression, diagnosis and multidisciplinary management

This thesis aim to review, critically evaluate and extend the body of knowledge pertaining to cardinal but poorly understood aspects of vocal cord dysfunction/inducible laryngeal obstruction (VCD/ILO). It identifies that diagnosis and management of this enigmatic disorder is improving but also indicate that more research will be essential to shape a positive future for people with VCD/ILO.
