BAC-transgenic G1-APOL1 mice ex-vivo stimulated CD8+T-cells show showed enrichment of canonical T-cell receptor (TCR) response pathways including calcium signaling. Overall design: Bacterial artificial chromosome transgenic mice (BAC-Tg) show physiologic expression of APOL1 transgenes and each mouse line expresses only that respective variant. G0, G1 BAC-Tg mice were thus generated. Isolated naïve CD8+T-cells were stimulated ex vivo with using anti-CD3/CD28 (n=4 G0 vs 3 G1 adult animals). RNA was extracted and RNA-sequencing was performed at 72 hrs stimulation.
