Experimental atherosclerosis was established by feeding Apoe KO mice a Western, high-fat diet for 12 weeks and experimental cerebral ischemia was established by middle cerebral artery occlusion. RNA-seq was perfomed to investigate the potential gene regulation of AS (LAA)-exo-dependent changes of microglia. Transcriptional profiles of microglia sorted from Sham mice, MCAO mice, MCAO mice treated with Ctrl-exos, and MCAO mice treated with AS-exos.
