资源简介:

Extreme precipitation changes under global warming are influenced by both anthropogenic forcing and natural factors, such as greenhouse gases, solar radiation, and aerosols. Currently, global emission reduction efforts continue to face significant challenges. To mitigate and curb the adverse effects of climate change, scientists have proposed the concept of “geoengineering” to counteract the phenomenon of global warming caused by rising greenhouse gas concentrations. This study examines the impact of solar radiation management (SRM) and stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI) on extreme precipitation under greenhouse gas-induced warming based on simulation results from CMIP6 (The Sixth Coupled Model Intercomparison Project) and its sub-project GeoMIP (The Geoengineering Model Intercomparison Project).
