Brazil: most popular lodging apps 2021

In March 2021, around 29 percent of smartphone owners surveyed in Brazil who had used a mobile app to book accommodations said they had done so using Booking.com – an Amsterdam-based online travel agency owned by Booking Holdings, headquartered in Norwalk, United States. Additionally, 22 percent mentioned Airbnb, based in San Francisco. Approximately 10 percent mentioned Trivago, headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany, and controlled by Seattle-based company Expedia Group. Hoteis.com – more widely known as Hotels.com – had a share of five percent and also belongs to Expedia.
