Ex-Situ Treatment of Contaminated Soils

The present report of the Federal Environment Agency describes stationary plants for the treatment of contaminated soils in Austria, with regard to different ex situ procedures and technology. Of the 18 soil treatment plants surveyed, ten apply plant microbiological methods, three mechanical methods, two mechanical treatment methods in combination with solidification/stabilization, another two thermal methods and one chemical-physical method. The soil treatment plants described treat both contaminated soil and other hazardous and non-hazardous types of waste. The primary objective of the treatment of contaminated soils is the reduction of contamination for the assignment to certain landfill classes and the production of mineral materials for recycling.奥地利联邦环境署本次发布的报告针对本国受污染土壤的固定处理设施，就各类异位（ex situ）修复工艺与技术展开了详细阐述。本次调研涵盖18座土壤处理设施，其中10座采用植物微生物修复工艺，3座采用机械修复工艺，2座采用机械处理与固化/稳定化联用工艺，另有2座采用热修复工艺，1座采用化学物理修复工艺。本次报告中提及的土壤处理设施可处理受污染土壤，以及其他危险与非危险类废弃物。受污染土壤修复的核心目标，在于通过降低污染物含量以将处理后的土壤划归至特定填埋场等级，并生产可回收利用的矿物材料。
