Inflammatory Gene Expression Associates with Hepatitis B Virus cccDNA- but Not Integrant-Derived Transcripts in HBeAg Negative Disease

26 chronic hepatis B patients and 8 non-viral control liver biopsies were analysed to study differential gene expression profiles to determine host factors associated with viral transcription. In this study we analysed 26 treatment-naïve HBeAg negative chronically HBV infected liver biopsies and 8 non-viral related controls.
