MALARIA IN THE WESTERN AMAZON: A DECADE OF TEMPORAL, SOCIODEMOGRAPHIC, AND HOSPITALIZATION COST ANALYSIS

This repository contains the dataset and R script used in the study “Malaria in the Western Amazon: A Decade of Temporal, Sociodemographic, and Hospitalization Cost Analysis.”

The Excel file includes aggregated data on malaria prevalence, mortality, and hospitalization costs in the Western Amazon over a ten-year period. The dataset contains organized and structured data used for temporal and sociodemographic analyses.

The repository also provides the R script used for data processing, statistical analysis, and generation of results.

All data derive from publicly available secondary health information systems and are presented in aggregated form, with no individual-level identifiable information.
