资源简介:
Purpose: The goals of this study are to characterize and analyze the transcriptome (RNA-seq) of emrbyonic day 12.5 cultured cardiomyocytes treated with simvastatin Methods: mRNA profiles of control and simvastatin treated E12.5 cardiomocyteswere generated by deep sequencing, n=4 for each condition, using Illumina HiSeq2500. Results: Using an optimized data analysis workflow, we mapped at least 34 million sequence reads per sample to the mouse genome (build mm10) and identified approximately 16,000 transcripts. Overall design: Embryonic day 12.5 (E12.5) cardiomyocytes were isolated from C57/Bl6 mice and treated in culture with control or media containing 10 micromolar simvastatin.
