Forest Volume Dataset – National Forest of Amapá (FLONA-AP), Brazil

This dataset contains dendrometric measurements used in forest volumetric modeling studies conducted in a native Amazonian forest, specifically within the National Forest of Amapá (FLONA-AP), Brazil. The dataset includes variables commonly applied in forest mensuration studies, such as: Diameter at breast height (DBH, cm) Total height (Ht, m) Individual tree volume (m³) Species identification (when applicable) The data were obtained from permanent sampling plots under managed native forest conditions and are intended to support: Volumetric model fitting Evaluation of statistical model performance Comparative analyses between classical regression models and robust estimation techniques Important Note:Rows 105 and 106 were artificially inserted to simulate outliers for methodological experiments involving the RANSAC (Random Sample Consensus) algorithm. These records do not represent real field measurements and should only be used for robustness testing and methodological demonstrations.
